I like this case! November 13, 2008 C. Perry (NEW YORK, NEW YORK United States) 33 out of 34 found this review helpful
Ok, so I just got a PSP3000 and needed some good protection. I am an adult with medium size men's hands, and, although I like that the PSP is small, I find it's almost too small for playing pleasure. In fact, when I first got the PSP3000, I was jammin' to God of War, side-steppin' and slashin' baddies with Kratos' blades when the PSP almost flipped out of my hands! Because the PSP Slim (2000 or 3000) has such a small form factor, if you have medium to large hands, you should definitely consider getting the Logitech case. The case is a clam shell design that fully protects the PSP from front to back and allows access for you to play the PSP while it rests within the case, therefore giving it a little more bulk for those of us adult PSP users. The upper part of the clam shell also folds back and doubles as a stand if you want to set your PSP on a table to play. Also, the case includes a template that you can use to cut out pictures, illustrations or just about anything you want and use as "wallpaper" inside the case. I'm a grown man and I didn't think I'd ever avail myself of this little feature, but lo and behold I've now got a nice little human skull illustration on my Logitech case that I downloaded for free from the Playgear Pocket Skins website. Lastly, the Logitech case is also very, very reasonably priced. That's my two cents. . .
Does Exactly What You Need It To Do September 19, 2008 Troy Minassian (Los Angeles, CA) 34 out of 36 found this review helpful
When I ordered this on Amazon, I was hoping that it wouldn't be some sloppy redesign of the original PSP case. Well I am happy to say that this case lives up to the quality that was present in other Logitech cases from the other generations.
All of the ports have ample access room, except for the USB port on the top that requires for the PSP to be removed. Hard plastic covers the PSP from head to toe and the rubber fitment in the case cradles the PSP with no wiggle room. Logitech also sends out stencils with the case, allowing you to slip in any piece of artwork that you desire so that it is visible from the outside. The hinges are strong and they will hold the cover at whatever angle you like. When the cover is opened all the way, it acts as a stand that lets your PSP stand at a 45% angle that is good for displaying the console. The bottom of the case is also a neat little feature that exposes the "PSP" logo ring on the back of the PSP. Since I have the God of War: Red PSP, the combination of black and red go really well together.
Overall, this is a great PSP case that not only protects the PSP, but makes sure that all of your essentials are accommodated. You could definitely take this on the road with you without hesitation and I recommend it to anyone who is willing to invest in the protection of their PSP.
PSP Logitech PlayGear Pocket Slim September 17, 2008 Joseph Akroush (Dearborn, MI) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Since I bought my PSP-Slim in June, I was using the Sony PSP Slim case. This case was bulky and it defeated the purpose of owning a Slim PSP. I just received the Logitech PlayGear Pocket Slim today and it's great. The PSP fits well. The case "hugs" the PSP so that it doesn't rattle or move around at all. All the necessary holes are there for the headphone/remote jack and power adapter connection. The PSP is easily playable while still in the case. I highly recommend this case for any PSP-2000 owners.
Best PSP Case October 22, 2008 Duy Mo (Michigan, USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The PSP Phat Logitech Case was made awhile back and it did not fit the Slim PSP. Logitech has answered our calls and made a slim version on the case. Overall, the case is great. The psp fits snuggly in the case and provides great protection. The cover also flips 270 degrees so you can use it as a stand. All buttons can be accessed and the case locks shut, so the case won't open unexpectedly. The memory card slot and the USB connection will be blocked, so you will have to take out the PSP to access those areas. If you have an extended battery, you can also use this case. The best part about this product is the able to customize it with your very own image. You can place the images on the back of the case between the rubber and the case outside. They will provide you with a template to use so you can print out your own creations. I personally recommend using an ex-acto knife to cut out the images. Lastly, your PSP can nest itself inside the case and can be used as a grip..it works really well.
Pros:
+Great Protection (Inside + Outside)
+Small Enough To Be Taken Anywhere
+Customize Images
+Buttons are All Accessible (Expect for the WLAN Switch/Memory Stick/USB)
+Can Be Used as a Stand
+PSP Can Nest Inside and Be Used as a Grip
+Looks Very Nice
Cons:
-Template That Comes Inside Package Isn't 100% Accurate
There aren't many cons out there to deal with this product. If you need the convenience and protection, I would highly recommend getting this product!
Great Case for the PSP Slim October 20, 2008 Baron (Seattle) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The slim psp fits this perfectly. I have no problem playing games while the case is still on. The plastic and padding seem like it will protect the psp well. The case doesn't pick up finger prints. The only bad part is it will add some size to the psp. This will be a problem it were going to carry it in your pocket. I always keep my psp in a bookbag so that isn't a problem for me. One last thing, all the ports are easy to get at
